WRY CRIPS WAS A BIT DORMANT BETWEEN 2012 to 2017 UNTIL A PERFORMANCE WAS ORGANIZED, REHEARSED AND PRESENTED TO THE PUBLIC IN JUNE OF 2017.
BY LATE SUMMER OF 2017, THEATRICAL DIRECTOR MICHAELA GOLDHABER JOINED IN TO HELP DEVELOP AND DIRECT A PIECE CALLED,
'IRETONIA: A SCI FI FANTASY.'
FOUR YEARS IN THE MAKING, 'IRETONIA' WAS PERFORMED IN BERKELEY, CA. ON THE STAGE OF LIVE OAK THEATER OPENING ON FRIDAY AUGUST 18th TO A SMALL BUT APPRECIATIVE AUDIENCE.

WRY CRIPS WAS FOUNDED BY PATTY OVERLAND, JUDITH SMITH and LAURA RIFKIN, and has been making theater with disabled women for over 30 years. This is the first time Wry Crips has written a play as an ensemble.
